The
meeting was called to order at 7:00 by President John Neboda.
The
minutes from the February meeting were read.
Roll
call was taken with 17 members present and no guests.
The
Treasurer’s report was read. We have $1096.26
in our account.
OLD BUSINESS:
The
floor was opened for discussion of old business.
John
signed up for 3 tables at the spring Community Awareness Show at the Orchards Mall on March 7th A handful of members have volunteered to man
the booth and bring in some planes to display.
If you have any old plane magazines, please bring in so that we can give
away to potential new members. Dick
stated that the coupons for special price membership are at the printers.
No
one was able to positively identify the “Geezer” photo. A new photograph to identify has been added
to the website for March.
NEW BUSINESS:
MODEL OF THE
MONTH:
Dick
Klass brought
in his T-34 for model of the month. This is Dick’s first attempt at fiberglassing a complete model and it came out very
nice. Check out the pictures on the new
Model of the Month button. Plane
currently weighs in at 13 lbs, but Dick plans on replacing the 90 with a 120 to
get more power and balance.
