Minutes for the Meeting of May 6th. , 2009

 

 

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 by President John Neboda.

 

The minutes from April meeting were read.

 

Roll call was taken with 10 members present and no guests.

We had one new member Jim McLeroy. (I hope I've spelled this right)

Our treasurer was not present so there was no treasurer's report this month.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

John had graded the road back to the field, but then the rains made it all muddy again.  He plans to go out Saturday, weather permitting, and regrade it again.

NEW BUSINESS:

 The next meeting will be at the field.  John will be going over our AMA safety rules.  John has asked that you come early and help clean out the shed and get it ready for the upcoming season.  John and Dick have planted some bushes to help mark the flight light and to help give your eye a visual clue of where to fly.

Dick has put a new blades, plugs, oil on the mower.  There was a small discussion on looking at purchasing a new mower.  Ken will discuss with HFS tractors to see what might be available and what price.

We discussed having a fun fly on the last Sunday of each of the months of June, July, August.  Bob will be unavailable on the weekend of the 27th.  do to his impending funeral.
