Minutes for the Meeting of August 5th. , 2009
The meeting was called to order after 7:00 by President John Neboda.
The minutes from July meeting were read.
Roll call was taken. There were 13 members present. There were two guests.
There was no treasurers report as Ron is in hospital having shoulder replacement.
OLD BUSINESS:
Dick had to replace front bearing in tractor at a cost of 110 dollars in parts. The tractor is now running great and has enough power to pull the roller at the same time while mowing.
NEW BUSINESS:
John brought up that it was time for electing new officers. The members decided that we should retain the current officers and all agreed to do so. It was then voted in. Dick Klass volunteered to take over duties of Treasurer to help Ron.
We asked everyone at the meeting to call Larry on his cell phone or email
lwringer@qtm.net whenever they go to the field to give him an update on field conditions, who’s there, etc. for him to post on the web site. We are trying to make web site more useful to the members, so it would be nice to get input from the members so that you can check website before driving all the way to the field.We were glad to see Steve at the meeting. He is on trial medication that seems to be working, but his body is not liking the medicine. Unfortunately, it is leaving him too weak to be able to fly yet.
