Minutes for the Meeting of  September 1^st., 2010

  

The meeting was called to order after 7:00 by President John Nedoba.  

There was no minutes from August to read.

Roll call was taken. There were 5 members present.  

Our current balance is a little over $1000. 

 OLD BUSINESS:

Continuing problems with neighbor, please remember not to fly to the south over his property.

NEW BUSINESS: 

Steve Harder volunteered to take over as Vice President.

Since we were not able to have an auction on Bob's planes, John offered to take them and donate $100 to the club.  Everyone approved.

Continuing problems with neighbor, has cost us dearly.  We are looking at finding someplace else to fly.  We do not anticipate flying at the current field next year.

 John is currently negotiating on a field that we feel would be an excellent site, closer to most members, wide open, and only one neighbor even close.  We will post info on website if and when John is able to get this field.  It appears that the site will take minimal work to get ready.

MODEL OF THE MONTH:

There was no model of the month.

 

Meeting was adjourned.  Even though weather had been threatening,  it was a beautiful night for flying.
