1/7/09 Mike brought in his ambitious project showing us the parts he cut on his mill. Check out the photos. Nicely done and a great narrative as well  New photos of finished plane at bottom, added 4/1/09.

Mike sent over some more pictures to show the progress.  

I am building two Integrals at the same time. I have some sheeting left to do on the fuses and then I will make the patterns for the canopy and belly pan, which will be fiberglass. I have decided to Monokote the structure. I did experimenting with 3/4 oz glass and I found it too brittle. Because the structure is so light, I need the 1/16 contest balsa to be able to flex with handling. The Monokote is actually stronger while pliable. The Glass although more ridged, acted like an egg shell and would crush if mishandled.
